Hazza bin Zayed Stadium is a major football venue in Al Ain and the home ground of Al Ain FC, one of the UAE’s best-known clubs. Opened in 2014, the roughly 25,000-seat arena is distinguished by a rounded outer skin patterned with vertical, branching forms inspired by the trunk of a date palm, linking its contemporary design to the oasis city’s landscape. The façade is especially recognizable after dark, when architectural lighting emphasizes its repeating geometry, while daytime views reveal the contrast between the pale patterned shell, glass entrances, and broad surrounding plaza.
