Haystack Rock is an iconic landmark on the Oregon Coast in Bandon. It is the third largest rock sea stack in the world, standing at 235 feet tall. During low tide, the sea stacks can be accessed by stairs from the beach. Visitors can enjoy the spectacular views from the top and explore the tide pools at the base. The rock is a State Park and is a protected habitat for marine species such as puffins, murres, black oystercatchers and other coastal birds which can be seen here. Photography of Haystack Rock is allowed but visitors are requested to keep their distance from the wildlife and be respectful of their habitat.
