Haystack Rock is the most iconic spot of the idyllic Cannon Beach in the US State of Oregon. Located just off the shore and measuring 235 feet (73 m) tall, Haystack Rock is a prominent feature of the Oregon Coast. It is hard not to notice this protruding monolith and its birds that occupy it round the year. The coastline around the rock provides excellent seascape opportunities for anyone wishing to photograph or admire it. Haystack Rock offers exhilarating views of the ocean, the beach and surrounding cliffs. It is accessible from the beach at low tides. From the shore, the vertical mass of gray basalt looks amazing!
