📍 From Park içi Yolu, Turkey
Haliç is a special neighborhood located in Sarıdemir, Turkey. It is known for its cobblestone streets, traditional architecture and overall cozy atmosphere. A visit to Haliç feels like stepping back in time to a simpler era. There is an impressive medieval bridge, which is the oldest bridge of the city and the oldest functioning bridge in Turkey. It was built in 1873. Park Içi Yolu, which is the road within the park, is a 4km track with wonderful views of the Golden Horn, the Bosporus Strait and the Ottoman palaces in the historical peninsula. Along its length, one can find a variety of recreational spaces, a cafe, and even a mini-zoo. You can enjoy the picturesque view of the Bosporus in this area or rent a boat for a further exploration of the coasts. And don't forget to take some nice souvenirs from the nearby bazaars.
