The Castle stands on the Buda side of the city (on the banks of the Danube) and offers a stunning view of the Hungarian capital. The building has been restored to its original condition and is a popular tourist destination. It also houses a museum dedicated to the history and culture of the region. Take a stroll around the area and admire the detailed architecture sought from Italian models. Inside, you will find walls of Renaissance windows and paintings of Austro-Hungarian kings and queens. Don’t forget to take a picture of the impressive castle and its view of the Danube.
