Grand Roue du Prado is a 60-meter (196 ft) high Ferris wheel that opened in July 2012 in the city of Marseille, France. It stands in the north part of La Plage du Prado, one of the most popular beaches in the region. Visitors can get breathtaking views of Marseille and the Mediterranean from the passenger cabins. Several attractions are also located close to the wheel, such as the Prado Bowling and an amusement park, as well as a number of restaurants with stunning views. The Ferris wheel also offers a special experience for couples with an illuminated double cabin available for an extra fee. Grand Roue du Prado is a great way to spend the evening in Marseille, and is a must-see for all tourists who visit the city.
