Grand Cascade in Sankt-Peterburg, Russia is a beautifully intricate fountain monument. Comprised of numerous fountains, sculptures, and basins, it is combined with a wide array of water jets and approximately 64 waterfalls. The Grand Cascade was designed using geological and botanical elements to not only look beautiful but also to be structurally sound within the landscape. As such, it is the heart of Peterhof Palace, the former residence of the Russian Royal Family. While it isn't the largest fountain onsite, it is the most impressive. Visitors can walk around the perimeter of this masterpiece and marvel at its grandeur and beauty.
