Golubac Fortress is set between Serbia and Romania, located on the right-bank of the Danube. It was built between the 14th and the 17th centuries and is composed of 9 towers and 4 fortresses. It has been the site of many battles throughout its history, and today visitors can explore its large walls and view the fortress from many angles. Inside the fortress, visitors can admire the architecture, which has been well-preserved. There are also many open-air spaces where visitors can sit and - if they are lucky - catch a glimpse of some wildlife. The medieval architecture of the fortress makes it a great destination for photographers.
