๐ From Marin Headlands Park, United States
The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the most iconic symbols of San Francisco, crossing over the Golden Gate strait from the city to Marin County in northern California. The bridge stands 1.2 miles long, with two long suspension towers rising 746 ft above the water. The bridge is a scenic backdrop for many photographs, and visitors can take in breathtaking views of the bay with the bright, International Orange colorwork of the bridge. The best views of the bridge can be seen from either visitors lookouts on the Marin County side of the bridge, or from iconic Crissy Field beach and pier in San Francisco. Tourists can also walk and bike across the bridge and take in the majestic views. The South tower of the bridge on the Marin County side is a popular site for mast climbs, and bungee jumping, while Sausalito's shoreline is perfect for gazing out to the bridge and waters of the Golden Gate.
