Golden Gate Bridge

The Golden Gate Bridge is a bridge spanning the San Francisco Bay in California, connecting San Francisco to Marin County. It is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world, measuring 1.7 miles long and 90 feet wide. With two towers rising 746 feet above the water, the bridge is an architectural and engineering marvel and an iconic symbol of the city. Tourists can drive or walk across the bridge for a unique viewing experience. The unique architecture and panoramic city, ocean and mountain views make it a favorite of photographers. Parking is available on both sides of the bridge and reservations are suggested. There is also a sidewalks on either side of the bridge providing plenty of excellent perspectives.
