Golden Beach, or "SKABA" in the local dialect, is a beautiful sandy beach located in Dipkarpaz, a small village in the Karpas Peninsula of northern Cyprus. It is a stunning picturesque place, with captivating views of the Mediterranean Sea to the south and the Festovon Beach and Agios Georgios Beach to the east. The beach has a great variety of natural beauty and wildlife, including a different kind of sand, which tastes sweet when wet. The beach stretching from coast to coast, with shallow turquoise waters and is the perfect place to enjoy swimming, fishing and sunbathing. Thousands of rare birds can be observed, and visitors may even spot endemic plants and mammals. The beach is over three kilometres long and is lined with parasols and lounge chairs. There are also catering facilities, as well as small shops, cafes, and restaurants.
