Glymur Waterfall is one of Iceland's highest and most impressive waterfalls, located in Botnsdalur Valley in the Westfjords. This waterfall is 198 meters tall and its water comes from a long glacial river. It's a bit challenging to get to Glymur, as the access road isn't too friendly for cars; however, the view is worth the effort. It's best to hike through the cliffs and cross the black sandy plains to see the waterfall. Once you get there, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the valley and the many bird species that visit the area. Don't forget to bring your camera to capture this iconic vista.
