Giardini di Villa Melzi, in Bellagio, Italy, is an expansive and well-manicured park with gorgeous lakeside views. Set amongst the charming cobblestone streets of Bellagio’s old town, the park is divided in two parts; an Italian-style garden and an English-style garden. This 19th-century villa was home to the Melzi d’Eril family, and nowadays it serves as a Museum of Natural History. Its manicured gardens and original botanical paths are full of rare trees, exotic plants and fountains and feature a temple, dedicated to the arts and to philosophy, the Tempio Voltiano. There's also a white marble pavilion located on the shore of Lake Como. Its large expanse of lawn is ideal for a leisurely stroll and well worth a visit if you’re looking for a peaceful outdoor escape.
