The Giardini di Asolo are gardens in Asolo, a historic hill town in Veneto’s Treviso province, at the foot of the Venetian Prealps. The town’s cultural history is closely tied to Caterina Cornaro, the former queen of Cyprus, who established her court here after leaving the island. The gardens belong to a landscape where greenery, old stone buildings and terracotta roofs sit close together, with wooded hills providing a distinctive backdrop to the town’s architecture.
