Germasogeia reservoir is one of the most beautiful spots in Foinikaria, Cyprus. Located in the eastern foothills of the Troodos Mountains, it offers breathtaking views of the pine-covered hills and the blue sea beyond. Visitors can explore the reservoir’s banks on foot, take a boat tour, or simply bask in the sunshine by the tranquil water. Of particular interest is the barbeque area near the reservoir, which is popular with local families. A network of wind farms can be seen from the banks, a unique spectacle that renders the landscape even more picturesque. It's a great place to experience both natural and man-made wonders. Fishing is permitted but swimming is not allowed. Those hungry after a long hike or boat tour can sample nearby specialties like pastitsada and moussaka.
