
Gerickesteg is a long suspension bridge which spans the River Teltowkanal close to the Tegel Forest in Berlin, Germany. Built between 1910 and 1912, it is a steel truss bridge length of 56.8 metres and width of 5 metres - and obliquely crosses the canal. This unique design is popular with tourists, walkers, and cyclists.
Visitors can enjoy spectacular views of the Tegel Forest from the top of the bridge. There are plenty of benches along the riverbank where you can sit and enjoy the tranquil surroundings, or take a break from shopping or sightseeing in the nearby area. the bridge is also popular with photographers looking for picturesque scenes of the bridge and the waterway beneath it.
