Gasadalur is a small village in the Faroe Islands located on the west side of Mykines Fjord. It offers stunning views of the fjord and its sheer cliffs, as well as a spectacular waterfall, the Mulafossur, which plunges into the sea below. Visitors can hike along the cliffs with never-ending views of the fjord, try traditional Faroese cuisine in the village shop or take a boat ride around the bay. For photographers the village itself provides a picturesque setting, and the scenery of the surrounding natural landscape is breathtaking. Gasadalur is accessible by car, or by a hike over the hills, but keep in mind that there is no public transport.
