📍 Vatican City
Vatican City is known for its beautiful gardens, and the Gardens of Vatican City are no exception. Dating back hundreds of years, the Gardens of Vatican City are a stunningly beautiful area of natural beauty. The area is spread out over 50 acres and has ornamental botanical gardens filled with exotic plants and trees from around the world. An artificial lake is also located in the gardens, and it is filled with water plants, fish, and aquatic birds. Visitors can explore these gardens on foot, and take in the beauty of the landscape and the many sculptures and monuments that can be found throughout the area.

The Gardens of Vatican City also house a number of impressive buildings including the Terrace of the Pine cone and the Braccio di Carlo Magno, which is a grand terrace that features ancient Roman statues and ruins from the 16th century. The spectacular Baroque-style courtyard, Fontana dell’Aquilone, is also located in the Gardens. Other notable landmarks in the area include the Lavatera Gardens, where "Fountain of the Celestial Glade" is the centerpiece of these gardens, built by the Pope. There are also a number of hiking trails throughout the Gardens of Vatican City, making it a great spot for walkers and hikers to explore. Visitors should also take some time to visit the Vatican Library, Museum and St. Peter’s Basilica, which are all within walking distance of the Gardens.
