Gardello Tower is a 13th century fortification and the tallest tower in Verona, standing at almost 93 feet tall. It is located in the heart of Verona, near the northern walls of the ancient city. The building was originally used as a fortress and is one of the oldest structures in the city. Visitors today can enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the Somma valley and the city of Verona. The Gardello Tower also features a courtyard, wall paintings and a small chapel. Visitors can take guided tours of the tower and its grounds, which last around 45 minutes.
