๐ From Drone, United Kingdom
Gara Rock Beach lies on the South Devon coast near East Portlemouth, east of Salcombe and below the Gara Rock headland. This small sandy cove is shaped by rocky ledges and steep, vegetation-covered slopes, giving it a more enclosed character than the broad beaches around the Salcombe estuary. At lower tide, exposed rock shelves add strong lines, pools and foreground texture, while the open sea provides a clean horizon beyond the cove. The beach is reached on foot from the South West Coast Path by a steep, uneven descent, so its relative isolation is part of the scene as well as the experience.
