The Galerie de Paléontologie et d’Anatomie Comparée is a unique museum in France, offering both travelers and photographers an engaging look into the earth's ancient history. Located on the ground floor of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle in Paris, the museum houses France's national collection of fossil and comparative anatomy specimens, spanning a time frame of 450 million years. Visitors can gain an insight into the Earth's past through its amazing paleontological collection, which includes fossils of marine and land mammals, birds, fish and reptiles. Photographers will find plenty of opportunities to capture pictures of these amazing specimens. In addition, the museum presents an interactive audio-visual experience which allows visitors to explore the incredible biodiversity of these ancient creatures.
