Füssen Altstadt is a medieval old town located in Füssen, Germany. Situated on the banks of Lech River, the cobbled streets of the Altstadt feature stunning Baroque and Gothic-style churches, fortresses, and plazas lined with colorful townhouses and shops. One of the key attractions of the area is the Füssen Castle or Schloss-Hohes Schloss, a Baroque palace overlooking the town with a viewing tower offering panoramic views of the Alps. The Hohenwest Bridge is another major landmark, and is one of the most photographed and symbolic symbols of Füssen. The walk from the Altstadt to the bridge provides stunning views of Füssen's waterfront area. Lederhose House, a history and art museum, is also within the Altstadt, and is worth a visit for its various exhibits.
