Funicular view point
📍 Georgia
Built in 1905, the Funicular in T'bilisi, Georgia, is a unique cable railway system offering spectacular views of the city. With two lines, it runs from Rike Park, up the Mtatsminda Hill, to the Narikala Fortress. It is the world's oldest funicular and its distinctive beige and red carriages depart every 10 minutes, offering incredible views of the city.

The Funicular offers both locals and tourists a break from the hussle and bussle of T'bilisi. The journey to the top of the hill is short, but gives travellers time to take in the beauty of Georgia's capital city from the top of the hill. For those that want to explore more, the Narikala Fortress waiting at the top of the hill offers a stunning view of the old town.
