Fumarolas Lagoa das Furnas is a large volcanic caldera located in the Azores, Portugal. Featuring three main scoria domes, a complex hydrothermal system, and an impressive crater lake, it is one of the most attractive geological wonders in the archipelago. The Lagoa das Furnas holds a variety of hot springs, mudpots, and hot volcanic springs which makes it a great place to experience the work of Mother Nature.
