๐ From Parque Campo Grande, Spain
Fuente de la Fama is a monumental fountain in the center of Valladolid, Spain. This white baroque-style fountain was built in 1730 and features intricate sculptures of figures from classical mythology. It was built in honor of the Spanish military and the heroes who defended Castile, which was represented by Hercules, the son of Zeus and Alcmena. The fountain can be seen in the Plaza Mayor in the center of the city, just east of the main road. The fountain is popular among tourists and locals alike and is a great place to get an up-close look at the artistry. It is also a great place to take in the beauty of Valladolid.
