The Friends Apartment, featured prominently in the long-running hit NBC sitcom Friends, is one of the most recognizable buildings in New York City. Located at the northwest corner of Bedford and Grove Streets, in the heart of Manhattan's West Village, the fictionalized building served as the iconic backdrop for the beloved show and as a destination for fans from all around the world for over a decade. Today, the exterior of the building still carries the name "Friends Apartment", and is a popular tourist attraction. On Bedford Street, visitors can take pictures of Monica, Chandler, Rachel, Ross, Joey and Phoebe's building, and Royalle China next door. There is also the nearby Magnolia Bakery, the spot where Rachel and Barry went on their first date.
