Frankenstein Cliff, in the town of Hart’s Location in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, is a renowned spot for a bit of adventure. The cliffs, named for the novel by Mary Shelley, consist of two sheer sides mountain facing each other and are 330 feet in height at the highest point. The views from the top are spectacular and provide closeups of the region's unique geographical rocks. There is a short trail near the base of the cliff that passes through ferns and birch trees. The trail takes hikers to the top of the cliff, where they can find an old fire tower, believed to be one of the oldest of its kind in North America. The area is perfect for hiking and camping, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
