Leoben, Austria is home to a unique, historic fountain. Dating back to 1545, the pillar-shaped structure stands at the edge of town, at the cross of Badgasse, Landsstraße, and Lederergasse. Made of stone and iron, the fountain is rich in details and symbols, including two coats of arms, depicting two dragons facing each other. While the fountain has been restored over the years, the original design is still visible in the iron decorations. The original is from the 16th century, but was modified in the 18th century. This beautiful fountain is a popular photo spot in Leoben, as its situated in a lovely square, surrounded by various shops and restaurants. It is truly a delightful sight in the heart of the city.
