Fort Augustus Locks is a spectacular set of five locks located on the Caledonian Canal in the United Kingdom. The locks were constructed between 1803 and 1822 and are now a Grade A listed building, with many of the original features still intact. The locks lie at the southern end of Loch Ness and, from here, one can enjoy stunning views of the famous loch and of the surrounding mountains and hills. There are also several restaurants, cafés, and pubs situated around the locks, offering visitors the opportunity to take in the beautiful scenery while enjoying a meal or a drink.
