The Fontana di Trevi is an iconic fountain in Rome, Italy. It stands 26.3 m high and 49.15 m wide, making it the largest Baroque fountain in the city. Built in the 18th century and recently restored, the fountain is adorned with designs featuring gods, goddesses, tritons, and sea creatures. Every day, thousands of tourists make their way to the fountain to throw in coins, a longstanding tradition that is said to bring good luck. One of the most famous scenes in movie history was filmed at the Fontana di Trevi by the iconic Italian director Federico Fellini. It's grandeur is unmatched, making it a must-see for any traveler visiting Rome.
