📍 France
Fontaine Saint-Michel, designed by Gabriel Davioud, is a monumental fountain situated at Place Saint-Michel in the Latin Quarter of Paris. It was inaugurated in 1860 and features a striking bronze sculpture of the Archangel Michael defeating a dragon by Francisque-Joseph Duret. Photo-travelers should visit early in the morning or late afternoon to capture the soft, golden light that enhances the intricate carvings and sculptures. The surrounding area offers numerous vantage points, including views framed by tree-lined boulevards and classical Parisian architecture. Nearby, the Seine River and its picturesque bridges offer additional photo opportunities.
