The Fontaine du Trocadéro is a monumental fountain located at Place du Trocadéro in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. Constructed between 1878 and 1884, it is one of the most iconic monuments of the city. With 4 giant inverted vases, each reaching 35 meters of height, it is an impressive symbolic statement surrounded by a large pool that offers stunning views of the Eiffel Tower. Although taking beautiful photos can be possible amidst the hustle and bustle of tourists, a more private and quieter experience can be found early in the mornings, when the place is mostly deserted. It is a must-see for any traveler visiting Paris.
