📍 From Szentháromság Street, Hungary
Fisherman's Bastion is a terrace situated in the Castle District of Budapest, Hungary. The bastion was constructed in 1895 to give the Fisherman's Guild a stunning lookout point over the Danube, Margaret Island and Pest. It is now a celebrated tourist destination, and its seven towers are floodlit at night, providing spectacular views of the Danube and the Pest side of Budapest. It's a great place for tourists and photographers to take a relaxing walk and admire the stunning architecture. Tourists can take photographs of the lovely scenery and make sure to get a shot of the amazing Matthias Church, situated close by. Visit the towers, terraces and staircases to capture beautiful shots of Budapest and the Danube. Make sure to also check out the craft and souvenir stalls in the surrounding area- great for unique gifts and quality Hungarian goodies!
