The Firing Line Cardiff Castle Museum of the Welsh Soldier in Cardiff, United Kingdom offers a unique insight into Wales' military heritage through multimedia displays, historic displays and interactive games. The museum takes visitors through a journey of Welsh military history, featuring period uniforms, weapons, and other artifacts used by the Welsh Army in past conflicts. There are also stories of individual soldiers and footage from the main battles Wales fought in. Displays also show how military music and literature helped give Welsh soldiers an extra sense of pride on the battlefield. On top of this, the museum also investigates how Welsh soldiers have been deployed in both national and international conflicts. The museum is located in the outer ward of Cardiff’s historic castle and is open daily from 10am to 4pm. Admission is free for visitors aged 18 or under.
