The movie site consists of a rural baseball diamond surrounded by cornfields, made famous by the 1989 movie “Field of Dreams.” The movie was filmed on a farm in Dyersville, and the house and baseball field remain. Visitors to the site can walk along the perimeter of the field, take pictures of it, run along the base paths and pose for pictures on the pitcher's mound. The site is open 24/7, and you can visit for free, but if you want to enter the playing field or the house, a fee is required. Every summer, the site holds celebrity charity baseball games and other special events.
