Cabo Polonio is a unique, off-the-grid fishing village on the east coast of Uruguay. It consists of several dozen homes and an estimated 600 residents, and is known for its rugged beauty, its wild nature, and its picturesque lighthouse, Faro de Cabo Polonio.
