Faro Sant'Elena is a small lighthouse located in Augusta, Italy on the Ionian Sea. Built in 1843, it stands roughly 11 meters tall and stands on a rocky outcrop near the historic trading port of Augusta. It has a dim blue-colored light that guides ships and fishermen through the rocky waters at nighttime. Its location is surrounded by the crystal clear waters of the Ionian Sea, and the shoreline is a picturesque spot for taking in the views and doing a little sunbathing. In addition, the rocky ridges and sparkling seascapes make for a fantastic spot for photographers looking for unique shots to capture on their camera.
