Fara

Fara is an historically and architecturally unique church in Poznań. A Gothic building in the Old City, Fara served as a parish church for centuries. Built in the 14th century, it survived destruction and the passing of time, and today presents a breathtaking sight. Fara includes very valuable renaissance stained glass windows, late baroque altars, sculptures from the 17th and 18th centuries and exceptional bell tower soaring 70 meters above. The sacristy is decorated with 17th-18th century panel paintings. The splendid interiors make it a very attractive destination for visitors who are curious to explore and experience its old charm.
