📍 From Inside, Germany
St. Peter’s is the Protestant church in Wolgast’s old town, near the Peenestrom waterway separating the mainland from the island of Usedom. Its Gothic brickwork and prominent tower give the townscape a distinctive silhouette. The church also recalls Wolgast’s past as a residence of the dukes of Pomerania: members of the Griffin dynasty are buried here. Against the old town’s lower roofs, the tower makes that history visible in the skyline.
