Ñuble is a Santiago Metro interchange on Ñuñoa’s western edge, where Line 5 runs above Avenida Vicuña Mackenna and Line 6 crosses underground. Rather than a conventional long-distance railway terminal, it forms part of the capital’s rapid-transit network and links central Santiago with southeastern districts. The elevated Line 5 viaduct gives the station its most recognizable visual character: platforms, repeating structural lines and passing trains rise above the avenue, framed by traffic, apartment blocks and the dense everyday cityscape.
