Escultura a la Alianza, also known as the Monumento a la Alianza, is a large sculpture located in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. The metallic sculpture, which stands at 29 feet tall, was created by artist Tony Gallardo in 1982 and is dedicated to the Alliance between Spain and America. It represents the friendship, collaboration and cultural exchange between these two continents. The sculpture is made up of various geometric shapes, with each shape representing a different aspect of the alliance. The monument is a popular landmark and provides a great photo opportunity for travelers. It is located in the heart of the city and can be easily accessed by public transportation.
