Escondido Beach is a hidden beach in Malibu, United States. Located at the bottom of a steep, winding road that is only accessible from the Pacific Coast Highway, it is well worth discovering. The beach is mostly sandy, with some rocky areas and is a popular surf spot with consistent waves due to its sheltered location. Fishing is also popular and tidepools are abundant. The beach is secluded, beautiful, and peaceful and is a great place to relax, swim, and enjoy the sunset. The nearby beach of El Pescador is smaller but also worth a visit and is popular for swimming, enjoying a picnic, and for relaxed surf lessons.
