Escaleras del Parque Sarmiento is an iconic set of stairs located in the north of Córdoba, Argentina. Handmade from bricks and stones by Italian artisans, the 172 stairs connect El Rosedal with Parque Sarmiento and were inaugurated in 1933. They've been described as 'a triumph of art and engineering' and declared a National Historic Monument of Argentina in 1995. The stairs feature high walls with several tall pieces of wrought iron art, making them an ideal pleasure to explore.
