Escadórios do Bom Jesus is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Braga, Portugal. Built in the 18th century, the structure is set into the face of Monte Covão and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. It has two staircases with 580 and 420 steps, respectively, both connecting the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte at the top with the town at the bottom. During your climb, you can admire the beautiful views of the nearby cities, lush green fields and valleys, in addition to the imposing structures of the Sanctuary. There is a chapel at the top of the stairs, making it a great spot for a peaceful stroll or for a leisurely picnic.
