Erzsébet Bridge, named after Empress Elisabeth of Austria, is a modern suspension bridge connecting Buda and Pest across the Danube. It's the third and southernmost bridge in central Budapest, offering panoramic views that make it a prime spot for photographers, especially during sunrise or sunset. The bridge was rebuilt in 1964 following its destruction in WWII, reflecting modernist design contrasting with historic surroundings. From the Pest side, you get easy access to Váci Street's vibrant atmosphere, while the Buda side opens up to the peaceful green of Gellért Hill. Nearby landmarks include the Gellért Baths and the Cave Church, allowing for diverse photo opportunities within a short walking distance.
