Ermita de Santa María Magdalena is a beautiful religious building situated in El Grau de Moncofa, Spain. The chapel was built in 1794, and stands as a monument to the popular devotion of the Virgin of Our Lady Magdalena in the area. It is a traditional construction of modest proportions, respecting the traditional religious architecture style of Valencia. Clad in white and topped with the characteristic dome painted in bright blue, the Chapel of Our Lady Magdalena is located in the highest part of the beach of Moncófar offering spectacular views. It is worth visiting the architecture of the building, its interior including beautiful 19th century paintings and the impressive views from the belvedere. Visitors can also appreciate nature surrounding the chapel, with its crystal clear waters and sand beach, along with other monuments near by.
