Erfurter Dom is a must see - and visit - location in Erfurt, Germany. The bishop's church is one of the oldest churches in the country, dated from 1275. It is also the tallest building in the city. Inside the church, it has impressive and intricate details, like the stained glass windows, the stories of the apostles carved in stone and the Gothic style of the interior. The most impressive aspect of the Dom is the 3,000 pipes organ, which is currently the largest pipe organ in Europe. Visitors can also stop to admire the rich sculptures, frescoes and the tall towers. The church truly offers stunning grounds for photography, and it is also a great place to meditate on the grounds.
