Erasmusbrug is a 800 metre long cable stayed bridge located in Rotterdam, Netherlands. It is a symbol of architecture combined with modern engineering expertise. The bridge is a combination of a shallow truss which supports a cable-stayed span. The Rotterdam Erasmus Bridge Consists of eight cruciform steel columns and is crossed by over 70,000 people every day. The bridge carries both cars and trains. The beam of the bridge is formed by a pair of 105m high pylons that give the bridge its unique shape. It is lit up in the evening with illuminations that reflect the ever-changing state of the city. There is no doubt that Erasmusbrug, being such a unique structure, is a major attraction for tourists, who stop to admire it every day.
