Entrance to St.Trinity Cathedral

The Entrance to St. Trinity Cathedral (Svetitskhovloba) in T'bilisi is a spectacular 18th-century structure. It is considered to be one of the most important places of worship in Georgia. The Church represents a baroque style of architecture and has an impressive square which opens up to a large green courtyard. The walls are decorated with old Orthodox Christian symbols, adorning the sun-lit area with sparkling colors. The cathedral is home to the relics of Georgia's Christian martyrs making it a place of utmost reverence and respect here in T'bilisi. Its wonderful courtyard hosts music concerts, festive events, and folk-art activities in the summer season.
