
Entrada al Museo de Anclas is an interesting monument located in Salinas beach in southern Spain. It is a giant metal sculpture in the form of a ship which symbolizes the importance of this coastal town in the fishing industry of the Mediterranean. The sculpture consists of 12 metal anchors which form the hull and a crow`s nest at its peak. Visitors can climb up the ladder to the lookout and admire the stunning views of the nearby beach. The Museum de Anclas has numerous artifacts on display inside that tell the story of the fishing industry of the area over the centuries, while the surreal landscape of the Salinas shore provides a unique backdrop for a memorable visit.
